The Mission of Scioto Valley Baptist Association is to promote the fellowship among the churches, to seek the well being of each of the churches in the Lord's work, to conduct a definite work of local missions in cooperation with the churches of the association, to encourage, as it deems proper, the support of the cooperative work of evangelism, missions, Christian education and benevolence fostered by The State Convention of Baptists in Ohio and The Southern Baptist Convention through the Cooperative Program, in carrying out the teachings of God's Word.
